Highway division of Massachusetts recently launched a safety campaign to stem distracted driving crashes. The department recorded a 13% increase in fatal distracted driving crashes with 399 motorists dying in 2016. The campaign message highlights responsibility for injuring others with the slogan:
“Distracted? The crash is on you.”
